Highly unusual 19th century French gilt mirror.
It has its original real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with lovely ornate detail including its gorgeous Louis XV crest and side scrolls at the base.
It has its original beautiful bevelled glass with no foxing or scratches.
It has all its original backboards.
It is so rare to find a mirror this tall and narrow. It would look beautiful in any room with high ceilings, a hallway or alcove perhaps.
There are a few small chips to the gesso, these are being fully restored and the mirror will be in perfect condition when delivered.
