Stunning antique French fruitwood wedding armoire in excellent condition throughout. 

It is made of beautiful cherry wood. 

It dates from around 1900.

It has its gorgeous hand carvings to its crest, doors, bottom piece, side panels and lovely Louis XV legs. 

It has its long, original solid brass escutcheons and 6 hinges. It has its lockable key. 

These armoires were given to married couples on their wedding day to store all of their beautiful monogrammed linen. 

It has its original shelf and a new “antiqued” rail underneath so that it can be used as a wardrobe. It is plenty deep enough for this. 

It has its original solid oak back panels. 

It has been treated for woodworm.

It dismantles into several pieces for easy transportation. We provide clear instructions to reassemble it with the dowels provided.
