Beautiful 19th century French solid oak armoire painted in an off white chalk paint and lightly distressed. 

It dates from around 1850.

It has beautiful hand carved detail to its doors, top, feet and side panels. 

It has its original hinges and escutcheons.

It has a hanging rail but there are wooden supports on either side to carry 4 shelves if preferred to use as a linen press.
