It has its stunning original gilt (real gold leaf) on gesso frame. 
 

It also has its lovely original glass in fantastic condition, no scratches. 
 

It would make a fantastic free standing leaner mirror in a lounge, dining room or bedroom but would also look wonderful used as an overmantel mirror above a mantelpiece.
