It has its wonderful real water gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with no chips.
It has its stunning mercury glass that gives a sparkle and reflection like no other. Mercury glass is hard to come by and was not made after 1840.
It has all its original backboards.
It could be used as an overmantel or hanging on a plain wall, in a hall above a table perhaps.
