Beautiful late 19th century Louis XVI gilt console in excellent condition.
It dates from the mid 1800s.
It has its beautiful original honed white Carrara marble top with lovely scalloped edges and no chips.
It has its stunning ornate real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame in excellent condition including its beautiful gilt and gesso ribbons and it's elegant Louis XVI legs.
This would make the perfect hall or lounge console table.
It is tilting slightly in the photos as it is not fixed to the wall. This would need to be fixed to the wall through the 2 holes in the wooden bar beneath the back of the marble.
