It has its real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with beautiful ornate Louis XV crest and side scrolls with no chips.
It has its original mercury bevelled mercury glass. Mercury glass gives a sparkle and reflection like no other and was not made after 1840.
It has all its original backboards.
It is the perfect size for an overmantel mirror in a large room or free standing leaner mirror in a bedroom, lounge or hall.
