Gorgeous 18th century French gilt wood marriage mirror in superb condition.
It dates from late 1700s.
Marriage mirrors were given to couples on their wedding day.
It has its exquisite, hand carved real gilt wood (gold leaf on wood) frame with a huge amount of ornate detail depicting flowers, wheat and birds.
It has its original glass in excellent condition with a small amount of foxing to the left corner and no scratches.
It has its entirely original oak back and a string ready to be hung.
It is very hard to find these mirrors in this condition.
