It dates from around 1810.
It has its beautiful simple real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso Louis Philippe frame in superb condition.
It has its original mercury glass which is so hard to find and gives a sparkle and reflection like no other. Mercury glass was not made after 1840.
It has its original panelled back.
