Antique French oak gyropalette.
This was used in a Champagne house in the late 19th century in the part of the Champagne making process called 'riddling'. This process is now done using automated gyropalettes.
It is very sturdy and is made of beautiful, thick antique bare oak. It would make a fantastic wine rack.
