Stunning early 19th century French oak wedding armoire.
It dates from the early 1800s and has been professionally stripped and bleached to reveal the lovely grain of the oak.
These armoires were given to married couples on their wedding day to store all their lovely monogrammed linen.
It has masses of beautiful hand carved detail with no missing pieces including its Louis XV feet, floral doors, bottom panel and gorgeous crest piece.
It has a stunning curved top that is so sought after and hard to find.
It has its original brass hinges, escutcheons and working key.
It has 3 internal shelves. Please note it is not quite deep enough for a hanging rail.
It dismantles into several pieces for transportation and a guide will be provided to reassemble it.
